Compare and contrast: the new MacBook vs the Alienware Aurora

Technology

If you’re in the market for a new laptop, you’ve probably seen ads for the new MacBook 12in M7 and the Alienware Aurora 2019. Both laptops offer some of the latest tech specs and look amazing, but they are very different in their design and capabilities. How do they stack up against each other? Let’s find out!

Which laptop has better performance?

The performance of a laptop relies on three key components – CPU, RAM, and GPU. The higher the numbers for these components are, the better your performance will be. In this regard, we can see that both computers have relatively similar hardware specs, with one exception- RAM capacity. Apple’s new laptop has 128GB of RAM, whereas there is only 16GB of RAM on Alienware’s product. As a result, it seems likely that the new MacBook 12in M7b would outperform the Aurora in terms of speed when running apps such as photo editing or 3D modeling software.

But let’s take a closer look at what you’re getting with each computer.

Which laptop lasts longer on a single charge?

The Macbook lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge while the 6y5trf can last up to 13 hours. This isn’t a huge difference, but if you’re looking for laptops that last all day, go with the Macbook. However, it doesn’t hurt to have more battery life! Plus, this will also last longer between charges which is helpful if you need to charge your laptop every couple of days. The next factor is storage. You’ll get 512GB SSD storage with the Macbook and 1TB SSD storage with the Alienware Aurora 2019.

Which laptop has better touchpad accuracy?

This is a difficult question to answer because both laptops are top of the line, high-quality laptops. However, if we’re looking at things from a purely touchpad perspective, then it would be hard to argue that the MacBook is not better than the Alienware Aurora. The trackpad on Apple’s laptop offers reliable and responsive accuracy, especially with gestures. Additionally, the MacBook does not have any issues with palm rejection; you can rest your palms on the pad without triggering any accidental clicks or input mistakes.

The only thing that stands out as being less than ideal about this particular MacBook is its small size.

Which laptop is more durable?

One of the most important things you’ll have to decide when looking for a laptop is durability. Sure, design and power might be your primary concerns, but it’s critical that your laptop is durable enough to get through day-to-day activities without incurring scratches or other superficial damages. You could always buy a protective cover, but protection in one place means another part of your laptop will be exposed. In this comparison, the MacBook has an aluminum casing with a unibody construction. It also comes with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for up to three years from purchase date. The Alienware Aurora 2019 comes with a fingerprint reader and Windows Hello facial recognition as well as quad-core CPU processors which make them faster than many of their competitors like Apple or Dell.

Which laptop offers better value for money?

If you want to buy a laptop for performance, I’d recommend going with the Alienware Aurora. It’s made for playing games on it, so this laptop is going to be more expensive than most. However, if you’re interested in buying a laptop that has something powerful but more affordable, then I’d say go with Apple’s newest Macbook. There are pros and cons to both computers-they just vary in what they specialize in. The Alienware Aurora is great for gaming, but can’t do other things as well like video editing or working on multiple projects at once. The Macbook does not have an excellent graphics card like the Dell XPS 13 because it was designed to save battery life rather than having the best graphical performance possible.
